Contrary to what you might think, I don’t worry about the stock market. Perhaps that comes with having been in my profession for more than 17 years and seeing the good, bad and downright ugly when it comes to investment cycles.
One of the things that concern me most in general is that I see so many investors that still fail to see the value in creating a long-term financial plan. Another concern I have is how unprepared most people are for the unexpected. It is always a good idea to have a solid written plan in place in the event of illness, an incapacitating accident or even death. That’s what will worry me in 2014 and until the day I retire.
